The Boulder Bro
Brendan is an educator, varsity baseball coach, and competitive wiffle-ball player. He is the founder of Circle City Wiffle, a league known for its world-class stadium, high-level competition, and strong community atmosphere. Outside of teaching and coaching, Dudas is recognized for his hands-on, impulsive approach to DIY projects, mainly the “Boulder Saga”.
Education and Athletic History
Brendan earned his undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management before going on to complete his MBA. During his college years, he was a member of the baseball team, where he developed the competitive mindset and leadership skills that now shape his coaching, teaching, and business ventures.
Career in Education and Coaching
Brendan began his professional career in business before moving into education, where he teaches business and personal finance courses at the high school level. As a varsity baseball coach, he emphasizes fundamentals, accountability, and team culture, often blending his management background with sports leadership. His coaching philosophy centers on discipline, preparation, and creating an environment where players can grow both on and off the field.
Circle City Wiffle
Brendan founded Circle City Wiffle as a way to bring friends together for competitive play. What started as a backyard project has grown into a respected league, complete with a custom-built field, organized events, and a loyal following. Known as “The Dirtyard,” the field offers a professional-style experience, from its outfield fence and lighting to its press box and scoreboard.
Under his leadership, the league has won 3 national championships, raised over $30,000 for pediatric brain cancer research, and earned recognition in the broader Wiffle-ball community. Dudas himself has been a top performer in the league and on the national scene, earning the honor of the NWLA Tournament MVP in back to back years in 2024 and 2025.
Personal Interests and Influences
An advocate for creative problem-solving and self-reliance, Brendan approaches projects with a “learn as you go” mindset. His enthusiasm for tackling ambitious builds, often with minimal planning, reflects the hands-on work ethic he learned from his parents. Whether on the field, in the classroom, or behind a tool bench, his projects often balance determination (stubbornness) with a willingness to figure things out along the way.
